Apply the baking soda and water mixture to dry or wet hair by starting at the roots and working to the ends.
Let it sit for 1 – 3 minutes then rinse with warm water.
Then, you’re going to want to rinse your hair with vinegar. Vinegar is also great for the hair because it eliminates static and frizz.

Apple Cider Vinegar – Hair Growth Shampoo Preparation:

Mix 1 part white or apple cider vinegar with 4 parts water, and thoroughly apply it to your hair and scalp.

Bohemian Rhapsody Ignored Queen’s True Story

The movie Bohemian Rhapsody had a long journey to the silver screen. It took almost 10 years to get a green light on the project and finally start casting. The first actor to play Freddie Mercury was Sacha Baron Cohen, but he left soon after realizing this film was not going to be as realistic as he wanted. Then Rami Malek came along and the rest is history.

1. Members of the band Smile and Freddie knew each other for a few years before Queen got together.

In the movie, Freddie meets Smile members in the parking lot right after their lead singer, Tim Staffell, just quit. Mercury says he has been following the band for some time and would like to join them as a lead singer as soon as they are in need of one.

However, in real life, Freddie was actually introduced to future Queen members by Tim Staffell, who he went to college with and who was a good friend. Mercury dreamt of being a lead singer, so when Staffell had enough of Smile, Freddie took over his position right away.

2. Freddie Mercury’s eyes were brown not blue.

Critics may not love the film, but one thing is for sure — the actors have been chosen perfectly. Gwilym Lee, who plays Brian May looks like his son. Ben Hardy has the same ability to light up everything with his smile as Roger Taylor did and Joseph Mazzello somehow has the firm John Deacon grin nailed down perfectly.

However, Rami Malek has big, beautiful blue eyes, while Freddie’s eyes were dark brown. This doesn’t affect Malek’s performance in a bad way, but some fans have found it strange that they used a prosthetic nose, fake teeth, and so much effort in the quest to make Malek look like Mercury, but then they skipped the eye thing.

3. Meeting Mary Austin

The woman to whom Queen dedicated one of its most beautiful songs — Life of My Life — was actually Brian May’s girlfriend at first. Brian and Freddie spotted Mary Austin in the boutique where she worked. As a true friend and gentleman, Mercury asked May if it was serious between him and Mary and afterward Brian answered negatively, so he invited Mary on a date.

In the movie, the story is more romantic. Mary and Freddie meet each other for the first time backstage and it seems like they fell in love at first sight. Even though it’s not 100% accurate, it looks magical and realistic at the same time.

4. Freddie and his lover Paul Prenter didn’t break up because Paul hid information about Live Aid.

In the movie Paul Prenter, Mercury’s lover and manager, turned down calls from Freddie’s friends, didn’t give him his messages from his company, and tried very hard to isolate Freddie from the world. When the invitation for Live Aid appears he hides it from Mercury and when Freddie finally finds out the truth he leaves Prenter.

The goal here was probably to make Prenter seem as bad as possible. He was a traitor in reality and did sell photos and information about Freddie’s personal life after their break-up. But the break-up itself happened after Paul Prenter trashed Mercury’s house during one of his craziest parties.

5. Freddie wasn’t the one to break up Queen

One of the most heartbreaking moments in the movie is when Mercury is leaving the band, but this didn’t actually happen in reality. Queen never officially broke up. They paused their touring, but were still together in the studio. Moreover, Freddie wasn’t even the first to release a solo album.

In 1981 Queen’s drummer Roger Taylor released his first solo album Fun in Space. After that Brian May released Star Fleet Project in 1983. The next year Taylor’s second solo album Strange Frontier came out. And it wasn’t until 1985 that Freddie Mercury released his first solo album called Mr. Bad Guy.

6. Revealing his diagnosisIn the movie, Mercury shares the tragic news of being diagnosed with HIV with the band during their first rehearsal 3 weeks before the Live Aid show in 1985. At that time he was struggling with serious symptoms, like coughing up blood and having trouble singing. Back in the real world, Mercury found out he was ill a year after Live Aid.

There was a made up story about a Queen reunion for Live Aid about a month before the event, but this was most likely done in order to raise the stakes of the legendary performance.

1) Despite the fact that his character was shown just for just a few seconds, Tim Staffell actually liked the movie and even reconnected with his old pals to re-record the Smile song called Doing Alright for the film.

2) A few years before his death, Freddie asked Austin for the last favor: to take and bury his ashes in a secret place. So she did. For more than 2 decades nobody except Mary Austin knew where Mercury was buried. As for the movie, she refused to take part in the production but approved the script.

3) The last scene in the movie — the performance at Wembley Stadium — was shot on the first day of shooting. It was nearly identical to the real show and Malek copied every movement Freddie made during those 20 minutes.

An incumbent Senator of the Philippines.. a staunch critic of the current President of the Philippines Rodrigo Duterte mainly on his bloody WAR ON DRUGS campaign..

He is known as a soldier.. on top of his rank.. he staged a failed coup d' etat during the administration of the then Gloria Macapagal Arroyo of Pampanga which is widely known as The Manila Peninsula siege..

Moreover, he also led another attempt to dismantle the government by the so called Oakwood Mutiny wherein his group tried to occupy luxury hotels in Makati City.. but still failed due to lack of support..

During the said attempt, the group has asked the help of the then Mayor Jejomar Binay to intervene and to pacify the situation but as per him.. Binay has refused to help.. and that's the start of rift between the two..

Preservatives such as sodium nitrite inhibit certain bacterial growth and preserve color during the curing of meats.

This is a serious threat, especially to children. Those who eat more than 12 hot dogs per month have nine times the normal risk of developing childhood leukemia, a USC epidemiologist has reported in a cåncer research journal.

Two other reports in the same issue of Cåncer Causes and Control suggest that children born to mothers who eat at least one hotdog per week during pregnancy have double the normal risk of developing brain tumors, as do children whose fathers ate hotdogs before conception.

According to Shania Khialani, a dietician/nutritionist at Marie Claire O Shea Dieticians, “(hotdogs) should only be consumed in moderation as they can be a source of ingredients associated with health problems. Hotdogs are often high in sodium and saturated fat linked to an increased risk of heart disease.”Cooking meats at high temperatures like barbecuing which creates char marks on meats promote the production of carcinogens such as a polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon. She adds, “A recent meta-analysis study also found sausage consumption to be associated with increased gastric cancer risk (Zhu et al. 2013).

This is linked to the high nitrite compounds found in processed meats and production of carcinogens such as polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons from cooking meat at high temperatures.”

The recent findings, which are generating a great deal of controversy and concern, could help explain why the incidence of childhood leukemia and brain tumors has been increasing over the last two decades, say the researchers.

Well, there are tons of people visiting the Taj Mahal every day except Friday. The Taj Mahal is closed on Friday.

So, what are some things to know before going to the Taj Mahal?

1. When planning out your Agra itinerary, you’ll also want to add in some buffer room for getting into the Taj Mahal

This can include things like:

These things may not seem like a lot, but the time can add up as you are walking around outside the grounds of the Taj Mahal.

2. There are separate lines for foreigners and Indians

At both the ticket booth and the entry gate, there are separate lines for foreigners and Indians.

3. The lines may not be as long as they seem. (So don’t let the tour guides let you believe that they are!)

Are the lines long at the Taj Mahal?!

When I went, the separate line for foreigners was pretty much non-existent. I was there around noon on a Monday in the month of March, and I went through the south gate of the Taj Mahal.

But the long lines really all depends on when you go.

When you first arrive at an entry gate of the Taj Mahal, you may feel overwhelmed by all the people you see and the incredibly long lines.

You will likely have people approach you telling you that you can pay them to skip ahead to the front of the line.

But there may not be a reason to pay for this “service.”

So first check how long the line actually is before considering a tour that includes the “skip the line” service.

Just because you see an intimidating long line doesn’t necessarily mean the line will be long for you!

You may have the experience when you visit the Taj Mahal of finding really long lines for foreigners and short lines for Indians. But just know that just because a tour guide offers you a tour to skip the line and points at a long line, it doesn’t mean that the line you’ll be taking is actually long.

4. If you don’t take a backpack or bag, you can get visit the Taj Mahal quicker!

The security bag check is combined for Indians and foreigners, but I didn’t think the wait time for this was that bad. If you don’t have a bag that needs to be scanned, this can be totally skipped!

5. If you bring a prohibited item with you, there’s an easy solution. (There’s a luggage storage area.)

As a global icon and national monument, security at the Taj Mahal is tight.

Guards with guns were all around. Even on the train to Agra from Jaipur, officers with guns were frequently walking through.

I went through the security check at the Taj Mahal and had a flashlight that’s not allowed in my backpack (oops) so I had to walk over to the luggage storage area, then walk back again.

This probably added a total of around 20 minutes of time.

I was happy to have this easy solution, but if you’re in a rush trying to make the most of your time with just one day in Agra, you may consider it to be somewhat of an inconvenience.

So make sure you know the rules of what is not allowed and what not to bring to the Taj Mahal. If needed, you can head to the luggage storage lockers before you go to the Taj Mahal. This way you won’t have any prohibited items that will cause you a delay in getting in.

Small backpacks are allowed at the Taj Mahal, but don’t take a big backpack.

If you do take a backpack or purse, you also may have some things in there that you don’t think twice about. Among the list of items that are prohibited at the Taj Mahal include phone chargers, headphones, and tobacco products.

6. It costs 20 rupees (30 cents) to check a backpack

The lockers are located to the far left of the ticket booth of the south gate. There are both lockers and a bag rack.

7. If you are forced to go check your bag from the entry gate, you don’t have to go back through the line when you return

When I went back to the entry gate, the security guy allowed me to go straight through the gate instead of the proper line. (Although in my case there was no line anyway. But in case this happens to you when there IS a line, you don’t have to worry about standing in line all over again! You will have to go back through security again though.)

Then once you finally get through the Taj Mahal entry gate…

There are some encounters you will never be able to erase from your memory. For the Masciantonio family one such memory occurred the day their baby daughter met Pope Francis in Philadelphia. By a stoke of luck the family got a call from a friend, Donny Asper, an FBI agent who was helping with security for the pope that day. He told them to get downtown as soon as possible and the family didn’t hesitate.

Donny was eager for his friends Joey and Kristen to make it there in the hopes that their baby girl Gianna would meet the pope. Joey and Kristen are both devout Catholics and hoped that a meeting with the pope could help their baby girl, who has an extremely rare blood disorder along with a tumor. But the family never actually expected it to happen with the swarms of people in the downtown area all hoping to do the same. In fact the family had first hesitated of the idea since Gianna’s immune system was so low, fearing it would deteriorate further in the crowd. After Kristen and the doctors insistence they made the decision to go and boy are they happy they did.

The family made their way to the historic James S. Byrne Courthouse on Market Street, knowing that the pope was due to pass in that same area. Once Joey saw the pope making his way towards them he held up baby Gianna as high as he could getting the attention of a security guard who then grabbed her and brought her over to the pope. The next sight mom and dad witnessed would be one they’d never forget. There, among thousands of people, the pope planted a kiss on baby Gianna’s head. After the euphoria of the moment passed the family went back into their normal routine of doctors visits for their daughter – but just six weeks later new scans of her condition brought the entire family to tears. Gianna’s tumor had significantly shrunk. Whether people want to believe it’s a miracle or not the family says the pope’s kiss was not the miracle that saved her but that “The kiss was God’s work, that’s for sure.”

Because of the rising quantity of money-involved cases, the Supreme Court came up with this solution. Also, this system has no expensive filing fee and complainants who are not able to pay the fee could also have a dispensation if they’re indigent or not financially able to recompense the fee.

“Ito po ay abot-kayang hustisya. Sapagkat sa pananaw namin, wala pong maliit na halaga na hindi dapat ayusin ng hustisya. Sa small claims, sisiguraduhin natin na ang batas ay maging simple, mabilis, mura.” explained former Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno.

However, a lawyer's assistance is no longer required if the money profess isn’t over 200, 000 pesos. The complainants will just require to fill out the small claims for and pass required supporting documents. The small claims cover all money profess whether from loan, debt, rent, services, and mortgages.

30 days after the complainant order the case, the court will tell the defendant and need them to answer the said complaint and will schedule a hearing. If both parties weren't able to settle the problem, the judge will quickly release a decision of the case within 24 hours.

For the system not to be misapplied, extra charges will be applied for every extra defendant. There’s an additional charge when a person files a case for over 5 times a year. Based to the Supreme Court, in 2016, approximately 13, 000 small profess cases were solved, much higher from 10, 000 cases found a solution in 2015.

Sen. Trillanes Controversial Trip To China Exposed

It can be recalled that during the presidency of Noynoy Aquino, one of the major controversy, in connection to the Scarborough Shoal dispute between China and the Philippines, was the contentious travel of Antonio Trillanes for 16 consecutive times to China.

It was also stated that Trillanes during those visits claimed himself.

to the “backchannel” of former President Noynoy Aquino III, serving as the president’s representative to tackle things regarding the Scarborough Shoal issue.

That incident was the subject of speculation by the journalist and former General Manager at Manila Chronicle, Jose Alejandrino.

In one of his Facebook post, Jose Alejandrino laid out certain facts associated to Senator Antonio Trillanes’ controversial trips.

He also claimed that, Aquino “was not aware of the arrangements that Trillanes had made with the Chinese.”

“If President Aquino is telling the truth, then who financed the 16 trips of Trillanes to China and why?” Alejandrino speculated.

He further said that it was obviously not be the Department of Foreign Affairs, then headed by Secretary Alberto del Rosario, who funded Trillanes’ trips given del Rosario’s disapproval to have negotiations with the Chinese government.

“Certainly the DFA would not have done it because DFA Sec. Alberto del Rosario did not favor bilateral negotiations with China. The DFA would only have done so if Aquino had effectively given his agreement for Trillanes to act as his backchannel. So my guess is Aquino was telling the truth,” said Alejandrino, who was also the former Presidential Assistant on Economic Affairs under Ramos administration.

Alejandrino also narrated what occurred during Senator Antonio Trillanes’ visit to China citing the notes from Sonia Brady who happens to be Philippines ambassador to China as reference. Jose Alejandrino claimed that Senator Trillanes expressed the Philippines lack of interest on the Scarborough Shoal.

“Trillanes had stated that nobody in the Philippines cared about Scarborough Shoal. According to the notes of our ambassador to China Sonia Brady, Trillanes had told the Chinese the Philippines had no means of enforcing its coastal protection. The Chinese interpreted this to mean that the Philippines under President Aquino did not care for Scarborough and so chose to retain it. Since Trillanes represented himself as acting for Aquino, the Chinese had no reason to believe that what Trillanes told them was untrue,” wrote Jose Alejandrino.

With the information that has already been laid out so far, Alejandrino then asserted that Trillanes had committed treason.

“What Trillanes did is clearly an act of treason,” Alejandrino wrote verbatim.

Alejandrino then furthered his speculation, going back to the previous question he already posed. “Why did Trillanes do it and who financed?”

Answering his own question, Alejandrino claimed that:

“Certainly not the Americans. The US had always maintained that Scarborough fell outside the orbit of the US-PH mutual defense treaty, so it had nothing to gain by the bilateral negotiations of Trillanes. In the case of the Spratlys it favored the multilateral approach of Del Rosario because it would ensure the US has a say in the matter.”

In his post, Alejandrino concluded another speculation implying the possibility that the business sector might be the one who funded the said controversial trips by Trillanes.

Alejandrino then mentioned one prominent businessman who could be the culprit behind Trillanes treasonous act-Manny V. Pangilinan.

“That only leaves the business sector. Manny V Pangilinan had a business venture with the Chinese to explore for oil in the Reed Bank. When China took Scarborough, that venture was put on hold. MVP wanted to sell his share and recover his investment but found no buyers because of the tension between the Philippines and China over Scarborough,” Alejandrino said.

In the end, Alejandrino posed a series of questions implying the involvement of Pangilinan in the aforementioned issue.

“So did he [referring to MVP] finance Trillanes to find a solution to the impasse? Did he offer him a deal in case of success? Or was it the other way around?” concluded Alejandrino.

Common Errors:

Blurred

If the given record of the NSO is blurry, you can go to your local civil registrar and request for a new clearer copy. But, if the civil registrar and NSO copy are both blurred you can still file a petition to correct certain errors.

Wrong Spelling

Given names or even one single name can be the same for the world’s population and some people makes their child’s name a unique twist which is a good thing but sometimes harder to spell out that happens when it in encoded. A lot of things might happen resulting to this common error, but you can also file a petition to correct these clerical errors.

No First Name, No Middle Name, No Last Name,

If this important information is missing, you can file a supplementary report for the missing entries.

Special Cases for No Middle Name

1. For legitimate child

The parent can file a supplemental report for the child who lacks any missing entries and they are required to give a reason for the failure to give the information during the birth.

2. If an illegitimate child, but is acknowledged by the father

In this case, the child is acknowledged by the father but the middle name is removed, the possible solution is to file a supplementary report for the omitted entry. The last name of the child’s mother will be used as the middle name.

3. If an illegitimate child, but is not acknowledged by the father

If the father of the children didn’t him/her there’s no need for a middle name. The child will use the mother’s last name as his/her own.

4. Different from the middle name written in the birth certificate

A petition can be filed to change this error. This is only applicable if the middle name of the child didn’t match the mother’s last name.

5. Incorrect middle names of both mother and the child

If both middle names are incorrect, they can file a petition on the Trial Court where the civil registry is found. This is not a clerical error and must be corrected administratively. The lawyer might require the petitioner to keep any documents that maybe used to support the petition.

6. Interchanged Middle name and Last name

No need to file a petition in court. It is just a clerical error that is easier to resolve.

7. The compound middle names

For example, your middle name is Dela Vega, you don’t need to use the two first letters of the middle name but you will use “D” alone.

Special Cases

Anyone born before August 3, 1988, can use the father’s last name if both the mother and the father acknowledged him/her.

A child can only use the last name of any of the parents who acknowledge him/her.

If a child uses the mother’s last name with the father’s acknowledgment inauthentic writings, the child can use his/her father’s last name.

If the mother’s last name is used by the child, but the father acknowledged the child and insist him/her to carry the father’s surname, the father must file an affidavit to Use the Surname of the Father in the civil register where it is filed.

Any Private Handwritten Instrument presented by the father can be used to certify that he allows the child to use his last name.

Any birth certificate that is not yet registered but is acknowledged by the father at the back of the document allows and let the child use the father’s last name.

Given names specifically “Baby boy” and “Baby girl” that was born before 1993 is considered disregarded and needs a supplemental report. A petition should be filled with this entry.

Who can file?

The person who owns the birth certificate or any authorized representative such as the relatives or friends and other persons authorized by the law can file for the petitions only if the owner if not capable or a minor.

Where to file?

The petitioner can file the petition to the local civil registry office where the birth certificate is registered. If the petitioner was born abroad, they can seek help on the Philippines Consulate Office where he/she is born.

Documents needed:

-Certified machine copy of the birth certificate

-Two public or private document such as voter’s affidavit or baptismal certificate

Note:

Indigent petitioners are exempted to the service fees.

The civil registry may require other documents as proof.

Duterte Threatened Total Deployment Ban For Entire UAE If OFW Was Executed

Manila, Philippines – President Rodrigo Roa Duterte on Tuesday admitted that he had threatened to implement a total deployment ban to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) if a Filipino domestic helper who was accused of kilIing her employer be executed.

“‘P— ina bitayin ninyo ‘yan, sabihin ko sa inyo, I will immediately order the suspension of the employment,” the president said in his remarks in a Cabinet meeting in Malacañang.

Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III also confirmed the chief executive’s statement, telling everyone in the meeting that he and Philippine Overseas Employment Administration Administrator Hans Leo Cacdac flew to Abu Dhabi to relay to UAE officials Duterte’s sentiments.

“I said, the President respect[s] your justice system. But the President feels that if you hang his countrymen, then he [will] just declare a total deployment ban for the entire United Arab Emirates,” the Labor Secretary said

“So after that, Mr. President, two months after, we learned na kinomute (commute) ‘yung sentence niya of death to only three years. Eh hindi pa nase-serve ‘yung three years, pinalaya na siya eh. Obviously natakot sila doon sa sabi niyo, sir.” Bello added, referring to the overseas worker who was saved from execution.

A Filipina saved from execution

Jennifer Dalquez, a native of General Santos City, was sent back home in the Philippines on November 2 after being spared from death row in the Middle East.

Upon her return, Dalquez and some members of her family met with the president in Malacanang, four days after she arrived in Manila from Abu Dhabi, where she was detained for almost four years. *

Dalquez, could not help but cry when she hugged the president during their meeting on Tuesday, November 6.

Also present during the meeting were Bello and Cacdac.

In a tweet, Cacdac said the president was a "shoulder to cry on" Dalquez and he also described the Palace meeting as “tearful” and “joyous.”

Dalquez, according to Cacdac, was really thankful for president Duterte’s help in bringing her back home.
