An incumbent Senator of the Philippines.. a staunch critic of the current President of the Philippines Rodrigo Duterte mainly on his bloody WAR ON DRUGS campaign..
He is known as a soldier.. on top of his rank.. he staged a failed coup d' etat during the administration of the then Gloria Macapagal Arroyo of Pampanga which is widely known as The Manila Peninsula siege..
Moreover, he also led another attempt to dismantle the government by the so called Oakwood Mutiny wherein his group tried to occupy luxury hotels in Makati City.. but still failed due to lack of support..
During the said attempt, the group has asked the help of the then Mayor Jejomar Binay to intervene and to pacify the situation but as per him.. Binay has refused to help.. and that's the start of rift between the two..
Prior to the 2016 Philippine Presidential elections, tirades from Trillanes camps came in to attack the candidacy of presidential candidate Jejomar Binay wherein he was accused of amassing funds from the deal they had with parking contracts in Makati and also for ghost employees therein..
Going back to the President.. he is consistent in trying to put him down.. he even said that he is a lazy President and not doing anything in the Malacañang Palace to make the lives of the people better..
He had a feud with the eldest daughter of the President.. Inday Sara Duterte wherein she said that Trillanes has no balls at all.. the fierce Mayor of Davao City took her blast via Facebook and netizens loved the word war..
Trillanes is claimed to be a hero for fighting the known tyranny by the Philippine President.. he said that he is not afraid to die for the Filipino people..
